Critical Care Transport Nurse

Interior Health is seeking a skilled Critical Care Transport/High Acuity Response Team (HART) Nurse to join our team at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, B.C.
This is a relief full-time opportunity until December 4, 2024, or the return of the incumbent, working rotating days and nights with shift times of 07:00 to 19:06, 19:00 to 07:06.
Key Responsibilities- Provide mobile critical care for patients who reside in rural areas
- Collaborate with rural clinicians to stabilize patients and transport them to a higher level of care when necessary
- Support patient care at the base hospital when not on transport
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Successful completion of an accredited critical care training course and/or certificate, a minimum of three years recent related experience caring for critically ill/injured patients including experience performing inter-facility patient transfers
- Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Current valid BC Driver's License

Effective April 1, 2024, the hourly wage will be $41.42 to $55.91.
