About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Cashier Sales Associate to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a key member of our sales floor, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cash Handling and Customer Service: Process transactions accurately and efficiently, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Inventory Management: Restock shelves, maintain a tidy store environment, and report any discrepancies or inventory issues to management.
  • Sales and Promotions: Participate in promotional activities, suggest products to customers, and drive sales growth through effective upselling and cross-selling techniques.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of retail experience or equivalent.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
Working Conditions and Compensation

This is a permanent full-time position working 35 hours per week. The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
