IT Specialist

Aptitude Technologies is a multidisciplinary team providing IT and information management services to businesses of all sizes.

We are seeking an IT Technician to join our team, reporting directly to management.

As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing IT support to our clients, including those in the Valleyfield region.

Teleworking is possible, but the selected candidate must also be able to travel to our clients.

You will work on internal projects and be part of our team, which is based on trust and commitment, conducive to creation and innovation.

1. Provide level 1, 2, and 3 IT support.
2. Monitor issues in the management platform, environment security, and external backups.
3. Manage Cloud and hybrid environments.
4. Prepare, configure, and deploy computers and network equipment.
5. Participate in the deployment of new environments and migrations of existing environments.
6. Participate in client/internal projects with the IT management team.
7. Write technical documentation.

• DEC or AEC in Computer Science.
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
• Microsoft 365 platform knowledge (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune).
• Microsoft Windows 7 and 10 knowledge.
• Microsoft Office 2010-2019 knowledge.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server (2003-2019).
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, RDS, etc.).
• Functional knowledge of networking (DHCP, DNS, VPN, etc.).
• Bilingualism (oral and written).
• Valid driving license.
• 3-5 years of experience as a systems administrator.
• Functional knowledge of Linux (Asset).
• Functional knowledge of Python, JavaScript, and MySQL (Asset).
• AWS or Microsoft certification (Asset).
