About the Role

Suncor Energy is seeking a highly skilled SAP Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of our technology group, you will play a critical role in developing the architectural strategy and leading the technology for projects centered around Suncor's business application suite, with a focus on SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain technical architecture and design documentation for SAP solutions
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their solution requirements and develop optimal solutions for the Suncor environment
  • Design and deploy SAP solutions to hyperscalers, leveraging integration technologies and SAP extensibility patterns
  • Develop and maintain approved solution architecture patterns within the SAP space
  • Accountable for the development and implementation of solution designs and conceptual architectures that address business, application, information, technical, and security architectural domains
Requirements
  • Five years of experience working as an SAP Solution Architect on moderate to high complexity projects
  • Proven experience in designing, integrating, and supporting solutions based on S/4HANA, BW4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP LOB SaaS, and analytics solutions
  • Good understanding of integration technologies and SAP extensibility patterns
  • Broad understanding of SAP product lines, roadmaps, and strategy
  • Experience in use of Enterprise Architecture planning tools such as LeanIX or Avolution Abacus
