Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Set The Table Kitchen & Co. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient kitchen procedures to meet production schedules
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality control
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and excess
  • Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, including inventory management and staff performance
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
