Retail Store Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at SSM BVD Travel Centre. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Hire, train, and develop staff to meet business objectives
  • Manage inventory, including ordering and authorizing returns
  • Establish work schedules and ensure efficient store operations
  • Prepare sales reports and analyze data to inform business decisions
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely manner
  • Organize and maintain a clean and safe store environment
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of sales floor staff
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads
