At BBA Consultants, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mine Engineer to join our team in Sudbury or Toronto. As a key member of our Mining and Geology team, you will be responsible for providing mining engineering and design services for mine studies, coordinating projects with the mining team, and preparing and overseeing the preparation of mining engineering drawings.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of mining experience in operations, engineering, and/or project evaluation, and be proficient in mining design and planning software packages such as Deswik, MineSight, Datamine, Vulcan, or Surpac.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of challenging projects, collaborate with staff assignments within the department, and mentor mining engineering staff. You will also be responsible for promoting cross-selling through new and existing clientele, actively supporting business development activities, and developing business relationships that will favor continued repeat business.
We are looking for a proactive and client-oriented individual who can communicate effectively with colleagues and clients in a professional and technical manner. Fluency in English is required, with French or Spanish being an asset.
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
