Job Summary:

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join our team at Vancouver Acute. As a member of the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Care, you will provide anesthesia care to patients at Vancouver General Hospital and University of British Columbia Hospital.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide anesthesia care to patients in a tertiary healthcare setting
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects
  • Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and sub-specialty fellows

Qualifications:

  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia and with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Completed applicable sub-specialty fellowship training
  • Current clinical expertise in a tertiary healthcare setting
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) – Mandatory
  • Anaesthesia experience – Mandatory
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Mandatory
