Job Opportunity

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Companion to join our team at Charles MacPherson Associates. As a Companion, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our principal, ensuring their daily needs are met with professionalism and discretion. This is a full-time, live-in position, requiring a typical work week of Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm, with flexibility to accommodate travel and other responsibilities as needed.

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a well-rounded and self-motivated individual with excellent time management skills, a keen attention to detail, and a strong sense of diplomacy and confidentiality. You should be comfortable with administrative duties, including calendar management, travel planning, and basic cooking. A driver's license and clean driving record are required, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the principal's schedules and calendars

• Plan and coordinate travel arrangements

• Prepare healthy meals, with a focus on Mediterranean cuisine

• Ensure the principal receives daily medication

• Arrange appointments and manage household inventories

• Greet guests and visitors, answer phone calls, and manage correspondence

• Maintain household security protocols and ensure all mechanical systems are in good working order

• Run errands and perform tasks such as grocery shopping

• Assist with the care of the household dog

Requirements:

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Driver's license and clean driving record

• Legally entitled to work in Canada

• Current passport
