Creative Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at WinMar Fort McMurray. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services to our clients.

• The ideal candidate will have 5 years or more of experience in the industry and possess excellent attention to detail.
• You will work on various projects, including interior and exterior surfaces, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Able to travel to different locations, with a willingness to work outdoors, underground, at heights, and in confined spaces.

• Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes as needed.
• Mix paint to the desired color and texture, measuring, cutting, and applying wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
• Erect scaffolding and swing stages, attaching rigging as necessary, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Estimate costs and materials for each project, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Degree: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but relevant experience is essential.
• Experience: 5 years or more in the painting and decorating industry.
• Language: English is the primary language used in this role.
• Work hours: 40-44 hours per week.

• A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
