The Ruddy Potato Bakery Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at The Ruddy Potato. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing dough for a variety of baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet treats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to meet established quality standards
  • Develop and implement production schedules to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Operate machinery and equipment to support production needs
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure adequate supplies
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
