About the Role

BMT Canada is seeking a highly experienced Principal Pipeline Engineer to enhance the capacity and capability of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical projects and provide guidance to junior staff
  • Develop and review project reports
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Be a technical leader for pipeline and/or pressure vessels and piping design and integrity assessment
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian and US pipeline and energy sector standards and codes of practice
  • Support project and business management
  • Identify opportunities for technology and staff improvement
  • Support recruitment of additional staff
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled engineer with a strong background in pipeline design and integrity assessment.

  • Minimum 15 years of related engineering experience
  • Proven engineering skills and a valid Professional Engineering license
  • Post-Graduate degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical or Civil Engineering preferred
  • Experience working in a consulting environment and leading client relationships
  • Expertise in numerical modeling and industry standards such as CSA Z662 and API 579
