Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipper-Receiver to join our team at Whyte Ave Landscape Supplies Ltd.
Job Summary:The Shipper-Receiver will be responsible for coordinating the shipment and receipt of goods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials to our customers. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine the most efficient method of shipment and schedule distribution of goods
- Prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents
- Assemble containers and crates, and inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
- Maintain accurate internal record-keeping systems and oversee loading and unloading of goods
- Supervise material handlers and helpers, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Pack goods to be shipped, and ensure they are properly labeled and secured
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience in a related field is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
