Seeking a Strategic Communication Professional

Caa-Québec is a leading organization in the automotive industry, and we are currently seeking a skilled Communication Specialist to join our team. As a Communication Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping the company culture and promoting our social mission and values.

This is a maternity leave replacement opportunity for approximately 1 year. You will be in a full-time regular position (35 hours per week) mostly working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advisory support to internal clients on business and public relations, particularly in road safety and the Foundation;
  • Develop communication plans and contribute to their implementation;
  • Optimize the use of social media in Public Affairs;
  • Produce engaging communications to promote the organization's social mission, values, and positions;
  • Collaborate with communication teams and contribute to the organization's content calendar;
  • Manage content calendar for various Foundation projects from ideation to execution;
  • Stay updated on news related to your responsibilities;
  • Execute relevant tasks to support the organization's initiatives.

Requirements:

  • University degree in communication, public relations, journalism, political science, or related field;
  • Minimum of 3 years of similar experience;
  • Recognized experience in public relations;
  • Excellent proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken;
  • Strong writing skills and ability to create various types of content;
  • Strategic thinking and ability to propose cohesive tactics for target audiences;
  • Proficiency with Office 365, communication tools, and social media platforms.
