Job Title: Office Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Receptionist to join our team at St. Mary's Bay Fisheries Inc.

Job Summary:

The Office Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and performing administrative tasks to support the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet clients and visitors, provide information, and direct them to the appropriate contacts or service areas.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage switchboard, telephone system, and mobile radio or telephone.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform data entry, provide directory assistance, and relay service to persons with disabilities.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and arrange teleconferences.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain work records, logs, and files.
  • Financial Management: Process invoices, receive and issue payments, and perform basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Team Support: Coordinate activities with the HR department to ensure goals are met.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, Word processing software, and electronic mail.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and ability to multitask.
