Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder Helper to join our team at Bura Limited. As a Welder Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our metal fabrication processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers in their tasks.
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools to achieve a precise finish.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Load and unload vehicles to facilitate the transportation of materials and products.
  • Polish metal products to a mirror finish to meet our high-quality standards.
  • Read and interpret work orders to understand the requirements of each task.
Work Environment

As a Welder Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding workload. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a dusty and hot environment.

Requirements
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
  • Fast-paced work environment with a large workload.
  • Weight handling: up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Personal suitability: dependability, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
