About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Taxi Driver to join our team at Saint John Taxi Ltd. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Maintain Vehicles: Ensure that our vehicles are clean and well-maintained, performing minor repairs as needed.
  • Transport Passengers: Pick up passengers and drive them to their destinations in a timely and safe manner.
  • Assist Passengers: Assist passengers with luggage and in boarding vehicles, providing a high level of customer service.
  • Operate Two-Way Radios: Use two-way radios to communicate with dispatch and other drivers, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Collect Fares: Collect fares from passengers in a fair and transparent manner.
  • Provide Special Services: Assist clients with special needs, such as providing wheelchair-accessible transportation.
  • Provide Tourist Information: Provide basic tourist information to passengers, enhancing their travel experience.
  • Offer Pick-up and Delivery Services: Offer pick-up and delivery services on request, providing a convenient and reliable transportation solution.
Requirements
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Vehicle Supplied: Our vehicles will be supplied by the employer, ensuring that you have a reliable and well-maintained vehicle to operate.
  • Driver's Abstract: Provide a valid driver's abstract, demonstrating your safe driving history.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail, requiring hand-eye coordination and a high level of physical fitness.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgment, and reliability, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

As a Taxi Driver at Saint John Taxi Ltd, you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, interacting with diverse clients and colleagues. You will be required to work independently, making decisions and taking initiative to ensure the success of our transportation services.
