Senior Financial Advisor

The Nova Scotia Healthcare Infrastructure Division is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Advisor to provide expert advice on P3 financing arrangements and contract management matters. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic financial advice to project team members and expert knowledge to create innovative solutions to changing needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert advice on P3 financing arrangements and contract management matters
- Develop and implement financial management strategies to ensure successful project delivery
- Manage the delivery and take personal responsibility for contract administration of the agency's P3 healthcare project program
- Ensure appropriate contractual requirements are prescribed and adhered to
- Develop and maintain formal partnerships and collaborative relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders
- Provide input into the development of compliance policies and procedures
- Deliver expert research, analysis, consultation, and advice on project issues
- Project Management Professional (PMP) accreditation
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and operations management
- Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial analysis
- P3 experience an asset
- Proven contract management skills
- Highly proficient in the use of MS Office Suite
