Senior Financial Advisor

The Nova Scotia Healthcare Infrastructure Division is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Advisor to provide expert advice on P3 financing arrangements and contract management matters. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic financial advice to project team members and expert knowledge to create innovative solutions to changing needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on P3 financing arrangements and contract management matters
  • Develop and implement financial management strategies to ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage the delivery and take personal responsibility for contract administration of the agency's P3 healthcare project program
  • Ensure appropriate contractual requirements are prescribed and adhered to
  • Develop and maintain formal partnerships and collaborative relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders
  • Provide input into the development of compliance policies and procedures
  • Deliver expert research, analysis, consultation, and advice on project issues
Requirements:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) accreditation
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and operations management
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial analysis
  • P3 experience an asset
  • Proven contract management skills
  • Highly proficient in the use of MS Office Suite
