Job Description

Banking Advisor - Greater Toronto Area

We are seeking a highly skilled and client-focused Banking Advisor to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area. As a Banking Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and building strong relationships with existing and new clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently demonstrate empathy and kindness in all interactions with colleagues and clients
  • Communicate effectively to uncover client needs and deliver client-centric advice and solutions
  • Champion digital enablement by educating clients to self-serve and leveraging technology to connect with clients virtually and face-to-face
  • Use expertise in everyday banking, credit, and investments to provide personalized solutions and referrals to RBC Partners
  • Provide professional advice and education on credit and investments, ensuring solutions are tailored to client needs and financial circumstances
  • Implement effective contact and relationship-building strategies to accelerate new client acquisition and retention
  • Collaborate with market-leading professionals in financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking to ensure clients receive customized and relevant expert advice

Requirements:

  • Mutual Funds accreditation or willingness to obtain it within the training period
  • Passion for hosting an exceptional client experience
  • Curiosity, emotional intelligence, and empathetic communication skills
  • Flexibility, self-motivation, and determination to succeed
  • Digital literacy across a broad range of devices
