About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Jeranne Construction. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for framing and installing wood structures, ensuring high-quality finishes and meeting project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Instruct apprentices and ensure they meet safety standards
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in framing and finishing carpentry
  • Carpenter Trade Certification and other relevant certifications
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
