Job Title: Carbon Emissions Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Carbon Emissions Specialist to join our team at BRP. As a key member of our Lean Value Generation team, you will play a critical role in supporting our CO2P (Material Cost and Carbon Emissions Optimization Program) by analyzing and reporting on carbon emissions data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect, analyze, and report on carbon emissions data across various departments.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive emissions tracking and reporting systems to monitor progress towards reduction goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement carbon reduction strategies in line with lean principles and identify opportunities for process improvements that can lead to reduced carbon emissions.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders, clearly communicating emissions data and reduction strategies.
  • Conduct benchmarking studies to compare the company's emissions performance against industry standards and best practices.
  • Assist in training and educating staff on carbon emissions reduction practices and sustainability initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in carbon emissions analysis, environmental management or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools, software and data management (e.g., Powerpoint, Excel, environmental management systems, such as Carbmee).
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and carbon accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking skills and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities.
