Responsibilities:

  • Translate engineering sketches and markups into accurately documented drawings.
  • Design and prepare structural design drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge in the structural engineering environment.
  • Coordinate and communicate with project engineers and design teams.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, developers, and contractors.

Requirements:

  • Civil/Structural Engineering Technologist Diploma/Certificate from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with structural project drafting.
  • Certified or eligible to certify with ASTTBC.
  • Extensive knowledge of drafting using AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • Experience developing structural details for connections and framing.
  • Familiarity with material codes and standard details.
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills, along with exceptional time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
