About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to join our team at First Student Canada-Transco. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, while also maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students on board, including assisting with boarding and exiting the bus
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and successful transportation experience

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license for at least 1 year
  • At least 21 years old
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination and background checks

What We Offer

  • $24.75/HR depending on route
  • Additional hours available – charter route opportunities
  • No nights or weekends
  • 4 Hours guarantee
