We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at Tilly's Family Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including complete meals and individual items, using fresh ingredients and adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including the cleaning of equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Inventory Management: Assist with the ordering and management of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our kitchen team to ensure that we are providing excellent service to our customers.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: We offer support for newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition and provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment.
- Support for Indigenous People: We offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers and provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 hours per week.
