We're looking for a skilled Analyst Credit Capital Markets to join our team in Calgary. As a member of the Credit Capital Markets team, you will work in a fast-paced environment supporting the Bank's deployment of the balance sheet to cover clients across various markets.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop your skills in corporate banking, concentrated on lending and portfolio risk management;
  • Support your coverage team on client transactions, risk analysis, and portfolio monitoring;
  • Prepare credit underwriting materials for internal credit adjudication;
  • Interact and collaborate with colleagues across the bank.

About the Role:

You will be part of a team of 18 colleagues located in Calgary, collaborating with colleagues across North America. You will report to the Managing Director and Head of the team.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field and up to 2 years or more of experience in banking and/or an industry-related field;
  • A professional designation or progress towards a designation (CFA, CPA, CMA, or P. Eng) would be considered an asset;
  • Demonstrated capability to work independently on complex financial analysis;
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including financial modeling in Excel;
  • Experience with Bloomberg and S&P Capital IQ would be considered an asset.
