Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Compensation Analyst to join our team at Hytec, a Kohler Company. This role will be responsible for managing payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in payroll administration, with a strong understanding of payroll software and systems. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include a comprehensive health package, including dental plan, disability benefits, healthcare plan, paramedical services coverage, and vision care benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Manage payroll operations, including processing payrolls, reconciling issued payrolls to bank statements, and preparing monthly statements.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws, union dues, garnishments, and insurance and pension plans.
  • Maintain records of employee attendance, leave, and overtime, using manual or computerized systems.
  • Perform data entry and maintain payroll databases.
  • Prepare and balance period-end reports.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in payroll administration.
  • Strong understanding of payroll software and systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) Certification an asset.
