About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at SK HOMES & CONSTRUCTION LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs under the supervision of experienced tradespeople.
  • Participate in the demolition of buildings and removal of rubble and debris.
  • Tend to and feed machines and equipment used in construction, ensuring they are properly maintained and operated.
Work Environment

As a Construction Labourer and Helper, you will work outdoors in various urban locations, often in dusty conditions. You will be required to lift and move heavy materials, up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements
  • Dependability and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are necessary for operating equipment and performing tasks.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Availability to work 30-40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
  • Proficiency in English language.
