About the Role

The Experience Centre Design Consultant is a key member of our team at Fisher & Paykel Appliances Ltd, responsible for delivering a world-class premium luxury experience to our customers and clients. This role involves interacting with prospective customers, including Specifiers, Designers, and Architects, to provide expert guidance and support in the design process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience
    • Greet and engage with all Experience Centre visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience.
    • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including Specifiers, Designers, and Architects, to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Design Development
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the key specifier community, including kitchen/bathroom designers, interior designers, and architects.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to inform design development plans.
    • Manage and cultivate trusting partnerships with key specifiers, leveraging Fisher & Paykel's brand and growth opportunities.
  • Product and Brand Ambassador
    • Ensure accurate and complete representation of Fisher & Paykel's brand and product messaging to key specifiers.
    • Provide expert guidance on product assets, including product descriptions, specifications, and drawings.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the appliance or building industry, in a design, project management, or sales/marketing role.
  • Working experience with interior/kitchen designers and architects.
  • Proven experience in developing strategic partnerships to deliver quality results.
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, or Interior Design, or relevant design credentials (AKBD, CKD, LEED AP).
