Project Overview

The Engineering Director will lead the engineering and design activities for a major project upgrade. This role involves managing engineering service providers, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements, and delivering high-quality engineering outputs aligned with project objectives.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies to achieve project objectives
  • Lead engineering teams to deliver high-quality outputs
  • Manage engineering service providers to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Proactively manage project risks, changes, and challenges
  • Prepare and present project updates and reports to stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline)
  • Registered Engineering Professional (e.g., P.Eng.)
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering management, preferably in capital projects or industrial environments
  • Bilingual French/English required
  • Strong knowledge of federal and provincial HSE regulations and engineering standards
  • Proven leadership in delivering complex engineering projects from concept to completion
