About the Job:

KP Contracting Group Inc is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is skilled in all aspects of carpentry, including building foundations, installing floor beams, and maintaining and repairing residences and wooden structures.

Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fabricate, install, and repair structures, fixtures, and equipment made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
  • Maintain and repair residences and wooden structures in various locations, including mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and commercial establishments.
  • Assemble prefabricated parts and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • The ability to work on-site and handle physically demanding tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Judgment and reliability.

Work Conditions:

This position requires working in a dusty environment with tight deadlines and handling heavy loads. You will also need to work outdoors and at various locations, including construction sites, residential areas, and commercial establishments.

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, which is estimated based on the job requirements, location, and industry standards.
