We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Co-op Student to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a student in the field of business analytics, computer science, or a related field to apply their knowledge and skills in a real-world setting.

About the Role:
  • Assist in the design and creation of data analytics solutions based on team needs and business goals.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and colleagues to understand how data can help improve decisions and business outcomes.
  • Build self-service reporting tools and data dashboards and train others on how to use them.
  • Support the growth of a data-driven culture by sharing knowledge, learning new tools, and contributing to team discussions about analytics and data visualization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Help design and create data analytics solutions based on team needs and business goals.
  2. Work closely with business leaders and colleagues to understand how data can help improve decisions and business outcomes.
  3. Assist in building self-service reporting tools and data dashboards and help train others on how to use them.
  4. Support the growth of a data-driven culture by sharing knowledge, learning new tools, and contributing to team discussions about analytics and data visualization.
  5. Work with software developers to help organize and connect data so that it's easy for others to use and understand, while ensuring the data is accurate and reliable.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with data analysis tools like Tableau and Power BI (even if you don't have expert-level experience, we're looking for enthusiasm to learn).
  • Experience with SQL and knowledge of the ETL process.
  • Good at building relationships and working with others to share knowledge and solve problems together.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken—whether you're explaining data insights or working in teams.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
