About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Advanced Soldering Engineer to join our team at Evertz. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced SMT and thru-hole hands component soldering
  • Read and interpret PCB assembly drawings, ECOs, and assembly instructions
  • Utilize electrical and manual tools such as soldering irons, desoldering equipment, and solder removal tools
  • Understand PCB assembly processes, including component installation sequence for thru-hole components

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience in fine pitch soldering using a microscope
  • Soldering or removal of multiple components on a circuit board
  • Excellent speed and accuracy
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and Bills of Materials
  • Ability to use a microscope for extended periods
