Job Title: Plasterer

Rai Star Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Plasterer to apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a smooth and even surface. The ideal candidate will have experience working with plaster and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to walls and ceilings
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces to ensure a strong bond
  • Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience an asset
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work 32 to 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
