Job Title: DevOps/ Release Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps/ Release Manager to join our team at Flextrack. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for owning the end-to-end deployment process from planning to implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning and execution of deployment activities to ensure seamless delivery of our cloud-based vendor management system.
  • Design and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline our development process.
  • Collaborate with developers to design and implement tools required to facilitate CI/CD pipelines.
  • Setup and manage development, UAT, staging, training, demo, and production environments to ensure smooth deployment.
  • Ensure configuration, code, and data propagate to target environments in an orderly fashion.
  • Provide training to developers to ensure consistency in deployment workflow.
  • Establish and govern the release process, including guidelines for all releases.
  • Support merge conflicts and clean-up source control in collaboration with developers.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Salesforce Development experience.
  • 5+ years' professional experience in Salesforce development as a Salesforce Release Manager, DevOps Engineer, or related.
  • Expertise in Salesforce deployment methodologies: Change Sets, Metadata, Source, Unit Tests, etc.
  • Experience with 1 or more DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, Flosum, Ant Migration tool, SFDX, etc.).
  • Expertise with Version Control systems (GitHub, Azure DevOps).
  • Extensive knowledge around challenging Salesforce deployment and version control topics.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the latest trends in DevOps methodologies, processes, and tools, as well as emerging solutions and the ability to apply them when appropriate.
  • 1+ Salesforce Certification (e.g., Administrator and Platform App Builder).
  • Nice to have: 1+ Salesforce DevOps certifications (e.g., Certified Copado Administrator).
