Job Summary

The Learning Tree Daycare Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention to detail.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
  • Establish guidelines for behavior and attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
  • Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

Our daycare center is located in a convenient area with public transportation available. We offer a 35-hour workweek and a permanent employment opportunity.
