Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator

At Atosa USA, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of materials within our warehouse, while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials with utmost safety and efficiency.
  • Receive and verify incoming cargo, accurately recording counts and conditions.
  • Document and store items in designated locations, maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Prepare equipment for outgoing orders, ensuring precise labeling for correct destinations.
  • Segregate outgoing cargo based on purchase order, customer, or freight carrier requirements.
  • Conduct periodic inventory counts to maintain real-time and accurate inventory levels.
  • Perform essential warehouse maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors and organizing equipment.
  • Inspect materials for any damage, defects, or discrepancies and promptly report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and updating inventory records.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize workloads.
  • Demonstrated capability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong focus, ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Outstanding customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in driving and/or operating heavy equipment.
  • Competence in reading, comprehending, and completing basic checklists, forms, and related documents.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to eighty (80) pounds.
  • Capacity to work on feet for extended periods of up to 4 hours at a time.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Proficient in using a scan gun for inventory management.
  • Preferred OSHA certification.
