Job OpportunityWe are seeking a Registered Practical Nurse/Wellness Nurse to join our team in the Greater Sudbury Area. This full-time or part-time position offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $33-$37 per hour.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to ORCA & RHA standards and best practices in health and safety.
- Administer medications and perform tasks within the full scope of practice.
- Collaborate with the Resident Services team to deliver comfortable retirement living services, catering to the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents.
- Participate in ongoing staff training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing (Registered Practical Nursing Program) or Registered Nursing Program, with a current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Theoretical and applied knowledge of the Practice Standards set out by the Ontario College of Nurses.
- Relevant experience working within the full scope of practice, including medication administration, within the last two years.
- Completion of RPN standardization (all modules) required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Meditech Client Service OE, and GRASP software.
- Knowledgeable about community support services, home and community care, rehabilitative services, adult day programs, and other social services.
- Effective team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
