We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Rock Bottom Underpinning. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete structures.
Key Responsibilities- Filling and Smoothing: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Compaction and Leveling: Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and level the top surface according to grade and depth specifications.
- Finishing and Repairing: Impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, and repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
- Installation and Application: Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures, and apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
- Maintenance and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by wearing steel-toed safety boots, a hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, and gloves.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade.
- Permanent employment with a regular 35 to 44 hour workweek.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
