About the Role

As a Heating and Air Conditioning Mechanic Assistant, you will assist experienced tradespeople with various tasks, including moving equipment, holding stakes during surveying activities, and cleaning machines and work areas.

Responsibilities
  • Assist tradespersons with installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and air conditioning systems
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area, adhering to company standards and regulations
  • Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Develop skills in the use of hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for the job
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field (e.g., HVAC, construction, maintenance)
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
  • Flexibility, reliability, and strong teamwork skills essential
