Trotter & Morton Group of Companies is seeking a skilled Mechanical HVAC Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will play a crucial role in preparing mechanical work take-offs and estimates for commercial and light industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the analysis of costs and prepare mechanical work take-offs and estimates for commercial and light industrial projects.
- Prepare estimates, including quantifying material and labour, as well as gathering quotes for sub trades and equipment.
- Provide technical support to project operations as it relates to estimating, reporting, and monitoring progress of projects, planning and scheduling, and dealing with project change.
- Five years of related work experience with mechanical HVAC estimating on commercial and/or light industrial construction projects.
- Post-secondary degree and/or diploma and/or valid journeyperson certifications in the mechanical HVAC field.
- Strong knowledge of construction systems and local construction association documentation.
