We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail FX Trader to join our team at Vancouver Bullion & Currency Exchange. As a leading currency exchange service provider, we are committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for interacting with clients, handling transactions, and providing expert advice on foreign currency products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate new business with new and existing clients by using consultative sales principles and techniques.
  • Develop and implement a rolling sales plan to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor live rates and provide expert advice to clients on Foreign Exchange and Precious Metals orders.
  • Problem-solve inquiries, suggest solutions, and provide best service options for clients.
  • Provide professional quality service to clients, accepting purchase/sale orders in a courteous and knowledgeable manner.
  • Resolve issues and report discrepancies to supervisors/directors.
  • Contribute to the development and achievement of team objectives.

Requirements:

  • Broad knowledge and understanding of foreign currency products and services.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Sales-oriented with a focus on prospecting for new business and executing sales plans.
  • Established book of business with a proven track record of success.
  • Ability to research and develop industry vertical contacts.
  • Participation in networking and trade show events.
  • Goal and achievement orientated with exceptional telephone and communication skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of industry regulations and standards.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility with schedule, hours, and locations.

Compensation: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
