Job Summary
">We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager - Cabinetry Shipping to oversee the logistics and shipping of our cabinetry products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for arranging best means of transportation for cost-effectiveness and customer delivery requirements.

About the Role
">The successful candidate will have a strong background in shipping logistics, with experience in managing shipping operations, negotiating freight charges, and coordinating responses to internal and external inquiries regarding shipping. They will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
">- Manage shipping logistics, including coordinating pickups and ensuring timely delivery of products;
- Review and negotiate freight charges and provide freight quotes internally and to distributors;
- Coordinate responses to internal and external inquiries regarding shipping, including quotes, shipping dates, schedules, and other related information;
- Determine efficient and cost-effective methods of moving goods via road and air, ensuring cargo reaches its destination in the most expedited and cost-effective way;
- Prepare shipment in advance based on scheduling and ensure accurate documentation, including shipping labels, bills of lading, TSCA, and invoices;
- Communicate shipping notices with clients (through Customer Service) in advance of actual ship dates;
- Plan and oversee shipping, determine space requirements, and ensure timely customer delivery of product;
- Obtain competitive quotes via RFQ and select best rate and/or transit times.

Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">
- A diploma in Business or Supply Chain Management;
- 2+ years of shipping logistics experience in a manufacturing environment, with preference to Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturing;
- A valid Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certificate;
- Experience with waybills, bills of lading, and international shipments;
- Knowledge of freight rate calculations and safe packing methods;
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP);
- Experience operating material handling equipment is considered an asset.
