About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic Technician to join our team at Integrated Power Services. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the essential labor force for all high-voltage equipment repair projects in our power plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disassemble and assemble high-voltage equipment;
  • Perform metal cutting and grinding tasks;
  • Operate orbital sanders and support material handling;
  • Assist technicians with testing and quality control;
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks;
  • Support electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Diploma or DEC in Electrical Engineering with 1 year of experience in a related field, or Secondary 5 with 3-5 years of experience in industrial equipment mechanics;
  • 1 year of experience with relevant training or 5 years without specific training;
  • Experience in diverse mechanical tasks and use of manual tools (assembly, maintenance, etc.);
  • Availability to work day shifts for training;
  • Must provide a basic tool chest, including a set of standard tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, etc.);
  • Punctuality and reliability;
  • Ability to establish priorities;
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills;
  • Administrative precision;
  • Knowledge of English is an asset (potential support for English-speaking clients).
