Job Summary

Bartell Morrison Inc is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations to management.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to other departments.
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • College/CEGEP diploma in accounting or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Simply Accounting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
