Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Machine Operator to join our team at Heffner Construction Group Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating computerized and manual woodworking machines to fabricate and repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Set up, program, and operate one or more computerized or manual woodworking machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts.
  • Fabrication and Repair: Fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products, ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Gluing and Finishing: Operate gluing machines to glue pieces of wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces.
  • Maintenance and Quality Control: Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment, and perform quality control checks to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced production environment, handling heavy loads and performing repetitive tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn new skills.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 44 hours per week.
