About the Role

MOTEL 6 is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team. As a Housekeeping Team Member, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Ensure all rooms and public areas are clean and sanitized to the highest standards.
  • Laundry and Linen: Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry, as well as restock linens and towels.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Assist with housekeeping operations, including checking rooms, reporting maintenance issues, and restocking supplies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Experience: Previous housekeeping experience an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
