Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to nursing staff, including clerical duties and data entry.
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Perform various tasks, such as preparing charts, arranging tests, and receiving results, to support the efficient operation of the unit.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and coordination of patient care.
Sechelt Hospital is a 46-bed acute care facility serving the Lower Sunshine Coast community. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, and we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team.
Requirements- Grade 12, medical terminology, and graduation from a recognized Nursing Unit Clerk program.
- One year of recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
