Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, including apprentices, stages hands, and design team members.
  • Sales Management: Assign sales workers to duties, order merchandise, and establish work schedules.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient stockroom operations.
  • Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration, including processing payroll, managing employee benefits, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a sales or supervisory role.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, excellent oral communication skills, team player, dependable, and able to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
