Job Title: Waiter/Waitress

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Waiter/Waitress to join our team at HI Port Hawkesbury. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage tables, including clearing and cleaning, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service and a positive experience for guests.
  • Perform sensory evaluation of wines and make recommendations to guests.
  • Assist with special requests and needs of guests, including those with disabilities.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
