Food Services Manager

The role of the Food Services Supervisor at Island Health involves leading a team to provide high-quality food services in a fast-paced environment. To be successful, you must have at least one year of recent related leadership experience in the field, with a graduation from a two-year CSNM accredited program in Food Service and Nutrition Management or meet eligibility requirements. Additionally, you must have a Certificate in Food Safe Level 2.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Managing food service operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Coordinating with other departments to meet customer needs
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards
Requirements:
- Computer literacy to work with various systems and applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to operate related equipment
- Conflict management and supervision skills
